refound friendship

pepe and michael, our 4 year old neighbour, have played so well all summer long. pepe was obsessed with michael and we took advantage of his obsession - "michael is eating dinner now, michael is sleeping, michael would not throw rocks".but winter came and we have not seen michael in a while. until this afternoon. pepe wanted to play outside with his little tykes car (btw, i overheard him saying, while "driving" the car - "watch out, petru is driving, all by yourself"), and we were outside when michael and his sister returned from school. pepe and michael were ecstatic to see each other. pepe followed michael around all afternoon. michael showed him ants, and how to run in circle (michael is the most energetic kid i've ever seen) and their mouths were going nonstop.
i am so happy the friendship rekindled. michael is the only other boy pepe's age on the street, and it is going to be great for them to grow up together. plus, i like amy, his mom - the only other full time working mom and exercise obsessed woman i know besides me!
