primal screaming

today we witnessed the full capacity of pepe's lungs. he was exhausted after school and playing, and just could not hold it together in the evening. he managed to eat macaroni, and watched the 1/2 h here comes a digger video, but then he got stuck on how the water bottle needed more water bc it spilled a bit, and how he did not want to get changed and wanted to go downstairs. yikes! and the screaming began. i sent chris out of the room, changed him, and then put my back to the door and ignored his screaming. he stopped after a couple of minutes. then i moved into reading books "to myself", which pepe did not like so he joined me. that was the end of it. he was exhausted, almost fell asleep in my arms, and after a short version of the ducky stories he is now fast asleep. hew!
